Re: [CHICKENS-101] Purple cabbage

 

Purple cabbage is a bit sweeter and milder and highter in vitamins that green cabbage.  My silkies love it too. I put it in the microwave for a couple of minute to cook it just a bit so they get more nutrition out of it. Cathryn

Nightshade plants are potatoes, tomatoes and egg plant, plus some peppers.  Purple cabbage and regular cabbage are both fine for our chickens.
