I'd sprinkle it each time you feed, maybe a heaping teaspoonful.  If the pasty butts go away, I'd use a bit less and keep it up for a day or two then gradually lesson the amount.  Cathryn

How much oatmeal on their food is too much?
They love it but I don't want to over do where they are so small.

It's 100-95 degrees right under their light, with room to get away and or under, in the heat.   You dipped little beaker tips into the water dish and sprinkled food in front of them.  If they are getting smaller and you bought them at the feed store or ordered them, let them know right away. They should replace them.  Sometimes a little sugar in their water helps give them the energy to get eating and growing.  A teaspoon per quart for 3-4 days. If they have pasty bottoms, plain instant oatmeal sprinkled on the top of their food helps too. Cathryn
