My chicken coop and pen have several different breeds in them. If they grow up together they do good together. They share the nests and I find small and large eggs in the same nests. None of the chickens have hatched eggs in the pen/coop because I use a bator to hatch. Actually, I have added to the flock periodically, but add them after dark if you add new chickens. Make sure the new chickens have a couple of weeks in isolation to prevent bringing in new sickness. I also have a couple of bantams in the pen and 2 roos and they all get along. The bantam roo gives way to the bigger roo but both protect the girls. Good luck with your c hickens. Susan in Conyers, GA
