Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Broody Lilly

 

Lilly is a small black banty hen.  I discovered her brooding yesterday.  She's done the broody routine at least once a year for the last 4 years and something always happens and she never has hatched a brood.  She's in the most popular laying spot with 5 eggs from various birds, including one of her own.  I'm not holding my breath, but the eggs have been marked and the countdown begins.
