[CHICKENS-101] Re: Hens and alcohol

 

Hi,

When I was a kid my cousins gave one of our chickens alcohol & it staggered & in 30 minutes or so my pet was dead. Then in 1982 I was in South America and 2 local teenage boys gave a beautiful Tocan some beer. While I did not see it happen, it was very sad to find our that such a gentle, beautiful creature was killed for a thrill!!!!

That still saddens and angers me after all this time.
