Are you currently sensitized to it? The first encounter a person has never results in blisters. Only after becoming 'sensitized' does one break out. That's why people say they are not affected, because they have not YET become sensitized. I am, and would not be eating your chickens eggs for months probably, out of fear. Internal cases do happen and I 'think' they are worse than external. So I'm saying "Don't risk it". Although the question is fascinating.
