Hi Linda, and welcome to the group. I'm way down south, not anywhere near you. I love Polish, they are my favorite chicken, what colors do you have? Mine are blue, black, white, red and chocolate. Most are young, only the red is laying. I also have Silkies, Russian Orloffs, Brabanters, Lakenvelders and OEGB's. Plus a Silkie mom with 4 mixed babies, and 4 more chickens setting on mixed breed eggs. My chickens are getting individual pens now so the mixes are not going to continue.
