[CHICKENS-101] Behavior question #2

 

This is another behavioral question

Believe it or not our two RIR's are a the bottom of the pecking order -- they will sit in the nesting boxes for several hours (guess its safe there) and never lay an egg. I think one of them is our night layer --we have a hen that about once a week we find an egg that has been laid while on the roost over night. It this behavior - just sitting in the box and not laying an egg normal, or is it something I should be concerned about??
