Those are what a lot of folks use Mike. When I first got mine I thought I had gotten the wrong thing too but no. They actually work fine if your temps inside your room where the incubator is stay steady. You do need to run it for about three days to get the temp all adjusted and whatever you do, only turn the little adjustment a teensy bit at a time or you will never get it set.
It may change a bit too once you put the eggs in so keep checking for a day or so.
