Thank you Anita.  She grew up into a very typey, lovely silkie. The cockerel who was killed developed his spots of color perfectly, then right as he was getting the hang of breeding his pullets gentlemanly, he was killed by a ding dong crow.     Cathryn  rainbowsilkiesTM  in  Michigan
