Re: [CHICKENS-101] Not sure I got what I ordered.

 

Good idea on giving to charity. Locally most eggs raised in local backyards are sold $3 per dz.  A friend of mine said she would buy more but can't find them any cheaper than that. So I was thinking I could get a pretty good customer base selling them for $2.50 per dz. Also that should have read 600 eggs and not 500. I will have 50 dz per month. I am not hoping to make money but it would be nice if my chickens, rabbits and ducks paid for themselves.

Kymberly, lOL!  I'd get all of my chickens tested and become NPIP so you can sell eggs at the farmers market and at the end of your driveway!!! Donate some to charity and any elderly having a hard time making it in your neighborhood.
