Re: [CHICKENS-101] Sour Crop

For a few days now its not got any bigger, however I have noticed once or twice in this morning the head movements, I presume to try and rearrange the crop, I do believe the same as Donna may be a yeast infection now .....

You haven't done anything wrong. How long has it been that her crop has been stretched out?

I followed advice given from another group, and massaged the area and made her sick, The local vet isn't very forthcoming with poultry only tends to deal with dogs and cats.......... The crop is about an inch extended  out it was a lot more than that and felt like a water balloon, with a lump inside which has now gone.

After I did what I did its not got any bigger and has been  the same size for the past few days, She also isn't  doing the funny head movements now and I think she has started laying again.....

So have I done something wrong.....
