Thanks Marlene. I felt so bad when I saw blood on my EE. Of course I scolded my Buff and probably didnt understand a word I said lol.

>Earlier this evening I let my girls out of their coop to roam. About an hour or so my Buff pecked on my EE and drew blood from her beak. I immediately cleaned it up but I don't know if my Buff was being a bully or if that was her establishing the pecking order? They were fine after that and for the most part they get along. For example they lay next to each other on my lawn or underneath my bedroom window and have no problems eating next to each other. Also how long does the pecking order last?it's all normal for chickens, it lasts until they die, though their social status may change over time
