Re: [CHICKENS-101] emergency list

How true Pete.  A teacher I worked with, (retired now),  had a bird bleed to death from a broken toe nail. Their beloved pet died in their hands as he bled out.  They used several kinds of blood stop and a silver nitrate stick from a local vet.  Had they had a soldering gun to use after the blood stop didn't work, they might have saved their bird.  I don't know why, I can't even explain it completely, but I love helping people with knowledge they may use or not, to avoid problems or situations that can kill their pets,  helping with sick birds if I can, to try to avoid their deaths, loss.
Sometimes the knowledge is in our files.  I am not a vet, but I am willing to share if I have the knowledge and if I don't send them on to another member with it, and/or look thru my vet books.
If I stay with a topic, that's why.

If it helps one member to get through a crisis or helps to solve an issue then it is worth the effort.
