Jennie, What are patty cakes? You waited so long for your chickens and it is wonderful that you are having such a wonderful time with them.

I have 4 socialised birds now and the older two are producing Eggs! The eggs are delicious and a bight colour to cook with! I baked some patty cakes and they were yellower than I have had and yummy too.
My two older bantams are sharing the pen and food but not the coop. That's okay I will work on this when the younger ones are fully grown.(two weeks to go!)
My bird dogs have been very good too.
Splash and Marmalade are the names of the 14 weekers. I would really like to add some silkies!i had better wait! They are very addictive though.
