Glad my chickens are apparently of average chicken intelligence for the most part.
An old family friend rents an adjoining empty lot to us where he plants his garden. He told me I could pick all the spent corn I could find for my goat. She ate the shucks and turned her nose up at the corn. So I gave it to the chickens. I had to bust up the cobs so the chickens would eat it.
