My pullet is quite fluffed up this morning and not eating much. I did put her back in the coop for the night since we got down to near freezing. She's back in the cage with a light now, and I just realized that my terrymycin expired 8/11. And I'm not sure how the dosage works for only a gallon of water. I will get to the feed store late this afternoon, but in the meantime, but I know they don't carry Tylan and only terrymycin. I do have Sulmet on hand. What should I do?
My older Delaware hen is still fluffed up and legargic. All the hens seem cold since our weather has turned so quickly. I see no evidence of bloody poo in the coop at all. Only a few thick brownish/greenish ones. No one's crops seem big either, no one's sneezing, and I didn't see the liquid come out of the pullet's mouth this morning(but I haven't been watching her as closely yet). I'm assuming I've either got a cocci problem or some sort of virus that'll need antibiotics.
Please offer advice if you can! Thank you!
