[CHICKENS-101] Jumped off the roost

 

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted, but have I got a funny story for you!  My game hen John Boy is a rowdy girl. If I'm not home to catch her she will roost in a tree at night.  However, she's gotten easier to catch and bring in for bed time.  Tonight, I realized it was late and when I went outside, she was up the tree.  However, when I went down there and called her she flew down!!  She was ready to come inside.  Sometimes she'll follow us up the steps to come in.  The dogs go first so she thinks she's shooing them inside.  I never thought a game chicken could be so tame and lovable!  The other girls STILL will not let her roost with them and that's why she's a part time house chicken LOL
