When I first got my Brahmas, they would lay wherever...behind the roost,
out by the feed bucket...I made an "egg grabber" out of a piece of
baling wire, a hose clamp and a long piece of bamboo to grab eggs from
where I didn't want to crawl...got it working great then they started
laying in the nesting boxes.
