Hi all you 'old hands' As you prob remember I have my first broody.
She has been sitting patiently & has five days till expected day of hatch.
Weird thing is my blue bell has decided that she wants to get in the coop where momma is brooding (A seperate one in their compound)
She seems determined, dh just called me to point out that she had actually got on to the top of the coop a minute ago.
Is this normal behaviour? Or do the chicks make sounds that we can not hear 5 days before hatch day, that could be attracting the blue bell? Cheers Jane & Co.
