One of my Turkens ended up with a big hole in her side, my guess is froma rooster claw. When I found her she had been stuck behind a board in 90+ heat for at least 14 hours. I really only brought her in to prevent her being killed by her flock, and let her pass in peace. She is now doing pretty well, and I think I need to build another coop (with enclosed run and no roo) for her and some friends.
Anywho, Even though I wait on her wing and claw, she still screams bloody murder every time I pick her up to change her papers, and refresh her food and water. She lives in a crrier on top of the formerly bottle fed kittens...
No respect <G>.
