I think I heard on this forum before that it is usually due to a lack of protein, get some dry dog food soak it in cold water & give that to them every day for about a week. I did this for my girls when they quit laying regularily, & were not molting or broody. The egg laying increased now I just give them dog food about twice a week. Jane & co
