Re: [CHICKENS-101] Kindness of craigslist :-)

Craigslist is a wonderful resource. I re homed about 20 chickens late summer via the List to an extended family who had recently purchased a farm in PA. And then fertile duck eggs.  All for free.
Just paying it forward. Over the years I've been blessed with meeting many good people that way.
I've met some great guys by selling guineas that have become some really close friends.  And met a Serama connection who I stay in touch and visa versa thru email and the phone.
It's also a great way to get to know the "no way I'm buying from you folks."

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Kindness of craigslist :-)

I recently was browsing craigslist and found FREE farm animals. Not getting hopes up and just inquiring to the post I learned there was some bantams for giveaway. I was leery as they are free.... so we planned for quarantine and went to get them. Taking precautions on Monday eve I made the husband go with me. Expectations was not high at all. As I approach in the dark it is a very rutted out driveway. Luckily I have the truck as the car would not have made it. We arrive at this very nice house and super sweet lady.

Thought I'd share and let every one know to not give up on society! There is still some good!
