Kari, Thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed the video. I took my wild turkey poults with me every where in a wood shop apron over a t-shirt, under a flannel shirt when they were not eating and drinking. They had to live in a brooder unless I could be with them outside. My wild turkeys stayed with me after they grew up and had their own pen. We walked with their wing tips in my hands. We talked back and forth and hearing the vocalizations in the video brought back memories.

I watched this amazing video from PBS today. It's long, but well worth watching. I found myself nodding as I found so many parallels between his experience raising wild turkeys and my own experience raising chicks. Warning - you will laugh and cry.
