Yes, they certaily do! My tiny Banty roo has spurred me too....even when I reach in to grab thier waterer to fill and food to feed them...It was not nice, he caught me under one of my rings. I cleaned it good, but it still got grossly infected...He is my tinest, but surley the fiesty one by far! I think he will have competition soon though. I got two more tiny banties and am certain one of the 3wk babies is a roo....I can see the tiny bump where the spurs belong, and the other does not have the bumps there. I will feel blessed of I have a hen and a roo from them. As for the show's, I have never been to one other than the county shows. I would like to go to one at some point, but between 3 kids, 30 chickens of all kinds, the creamscicle cornsnake, 4 kitties, and the aquaruim, taking care of all that by myself, not to mention half way through getting a Bach, I feel lucky when I find the time to take a bubble bath....and make hubby spoil me when he is home his one weekend a month, lol.
