Now the bad news, mice can carry worms.  :)  A diet with the right amount of vitamin a helps chicken's immune system deal with them.

I picked up their waterer once and dozens of mice started pouring out of the holes underneath, my girls stood in a circle and picked up mouse after mouse, took them outside to eat and then came back for more. A yummy treat, for sure!

Yes, quite common for chickens to hunt, kill and eat mice pups & other small critters too.
