[CHICKENS-101] Re: Silkie questions...thanks George

I have silkies as well, this is my first year with them. I have a splash roo and a blk roo and they are sweet hearts. I can pick them up at anytime and they are fine with it. I can also pick up my hens and they are white. Did not realize when I got them home from someone that lives near me that the hens were all white but that is okay. I am not really hatching for color its just for fun. And I like to see what I might get out of the breeds I get. I noticed Thursday that one of my silkies is sitting on 3 eggs so I went to one of my standard size pens and grabbed 2 eggs and set them in there with her. My daughters who feed when I am not able to get out there have said that it seems she is sitting on them as well. I will check later when I go out to feed, and check everyones water.
