My husband and I tried feather sexing our chicks and as close as we can tell, we have 7 hens and 5 roos.

This is our second year with chicks. I am just giving the feather sexing a try with my Silkies because I have a sneaking suspicion that they are roos. Last year we weren't sure which were roos until we heard them crow!
