Is the foam sort of like bubbles that are effected by inhalation and exhalation by the bird? Have your birds been immunized against CRD? I had a dear old boy pass away after getting an infection like this. I had him on tylan for a while. He made it for 2 weeks and passed away. The other birds in the flock who were exposed to him probably now carry the same illness, but it remains dormant until triggered... if it should ever be activated at all. Quarantine your bird, and get some terramyacin for her eyes. You could call the state vet I think they'll come out and get a culture from your bird to see what's going on. I had my old roo inside with me for those two weeks. When it looked like he was turning around, he did a nose dive. So sad, but I think this stuff is usually curable. The link below has some info.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Foamy eyes
Hi, my name is Valerie. We have just recently gotten our first three chickens. No clue what kind they are. Just that the seller said they were crosses. Two are black speckled something crossed with something. The third is a reddish colored bird. When we got them home I noticed that one of the black one had what seemed to be a cold. I started adding apple cider vinegar to their water and she cleared up. Now the red one has foamy eyes. I have not noticed any sneezing like the first one had. Is there anything I can do to help her out? Should I rinse her eyes with saline solution? Would that help? Thanks for any help.
