Em, Every night, after dark, could you put your little on the roost with the standard hens?

This is Texas...... at what temperature should I start worrying about my chickens? I have one really young hen (her two buds got eaten) that roosts all by herself. She does not roost with the bigger hens and I'm kind of worried about her. I started trying to winterize the coop some last night by putting plastic up on at least one side but I ran out of staples. It is a temporary coop anyway. I figured clear plastic would at least let some light in since I don't have lights. The lowest it has been at night is in the high 40s. Too cold for me lol!
Thanks,
Em
