AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! OK...I was told by local feed store where we ordered the chickens that you switch from baby food to layer when they are 4 months old and they should start laying around 6 months old...Chicks hatched ~May 6th... Yesterday we fund 1 guinea egg, 1 Lg brown egg, 2 little bantam size eggs... What should I do to help them since they have not been on the layer food yet. Calcium? Proteins? I don't want them to depleat themselves laying early. They get time outside free range a few times a week. 3-4 times.
