Thank you for the replies Ol' George and Dawn. I asked the person wanting them what she thought would be a fair price. She said around our area the most she has paid was $6 for a completely healthy lice and mites free silkie hen. One that she purchased that was infested with mites was $3. These are not show quality and just wanted for their yummy eggs and pets. She already has 3, and has had chickens for at least a couple years. The silkies she has now look really good, so I know she will take good care of them. Mine probably have lice and/or mites as I haven't treated them since last year in September. We will be completely cleaning coops and run this weekend and treating everything with the food grade diatomaceous earth.   Thanks again, Marci in PA
