[CHICKENS-101] Heartbreaking

 

Yes, I'm sure the adoptive family of the dog were saddened and disappointed, but they let a chance to show their child/children an empathetic, honorable, and valuable lesson to to act responsible and do the right thing.

 

Unfortunately, it isn't always about "us" and how we feel even about the kids the kids and their feelings for the dog.

 

One of my hard-a**, unbreakable golden rules for my kids was this: Everybody will sell out for something. EVERYBODY. No exceptions. Our job is to never put ourselves in the position where someone will offer us our price.
