Mahahahaha, that's MY face, Debbie!  I 'loaned'  him (more like shoved his head into it) my Alien Wedding Officiant mask.  The guys he works work have been razzing him that his trip to Roswell was really to make contact with the 'Mother Ship' so I couldn't resist making the sign and bringing the mask when I went to meet him today.

Anyway, I love that face.  As Alien faces go.....................  I really think that's a good one.  I can neither breathe nor see in it though, so it does have drawbacks.

Several people on 'Housechickens' run rescues.  But you need to say what state and town you are in for anyone to help you. Or, if you don't want to disclose your whereabouts - say the next town over!     Do you have a photo to post?  He does sound cute and many people might be interested.

I have a surplus silkie/polish cross black cockerel that need to go due to surplus. He is lovely and has been hand reared but I can't keep him because of neighbours.
Does anyone know of any rescue place were I can tale him or any suggestion on who might have him? He is 4 months old and very cute and friendly.

[CHICKENS-101] Baby Basketball and siblings [4 Attachments]

Baby Basketball has developed a 'FOOF' on his head.  It looks more like a cow lick than a crest.  There's also a photo of all the chicks in the 'moving van' the day they got to go to their new outside home.

Yep, that was meeeee, the person who has no 'bator whatsoever, telling other people what they need.    That's because I feel opening the machine changes the temp, and is a time consuming task that I would be happy to 'hire out'.  ie, the cost of the turner...............

That was Georgia that said you need a turner. I don't have one and don't mind turning them. By the time you lock down for the last two days, they don't need turning so the humidity is fine.

This is actually a fairly good start for a friendship between two alpha males from different cultures, Mike. Face it, if he was a nicey, nicey subservient kind of guy you would be bored to tears with him. I have a feeling that most of your friends have "an edge", and you prefer them that way. (I know I do.)

[CHICKENS-101] My chicken helper is back home.

 

And he even helped me with the chickens this evening - washed and filled each water dispenser for me. 

I picked him up around noonish in Troy, AL.  Took a couple of photos and headed home.  Nothing exciting happened on his trip, which is always good, and he says he's going to work tomorrow!
