Re: [CHICKENS-101] OT Back on line

GP's tend to use a corner for their dudies like many other critters so it's fairly easy to get them somewhat 'litter trained'.  Sometimes it's just the males people are allergic to, sometimes it's both.  We'll work something out.

Georgia, I can't wait to meet Mr and Mrs Basketball. I love lavender cochins!
Please tell all your little piggies hello for me.  I love guinea pigs, but am so allergic that I will probably stay outside.  I co taught with a Science teacher that knew I was allergic and kept a guinea pig that our students played with.  That year sealed my fate and allergy to piglets.
Before I knew I was allergic, I bought my daughter a just weaned piggie for her birthday.  I love how they purr and talk.  This was an adorable, swirly, long haired, teeny guinea pig.  I was going to hide her with her cage in my walk in closet, then go out for dinner.  The piglet caused my eyes and face to swell up until I looked like a creature, feature monster. Ended up going to the after hours emergency rather than tout o dinner with a date.  Piggie was kept very clean in my daughter's room. Not sure how, but my daughter had piggie using a little plastic box filled with clay cat litter. I could talk to piggie, but could never play with her. Torture.  If you touch your piglets, then me, I'll end up with allergic hives that look like burns. I can't breathe their scent either.  It's the same with rabbits too. It's such a bummer. Cathryn
