Re: [CHICKENS-101] Brooding Season

My experience is that they may go broody anytime they are actively laying. I have had them go broody from early March to late October.

About how long can I expect to have chickens that may brood?  I had my first 3 in February & one this month.  Was trying to plan ahead to put my coop back in order & get rid of brooding & nursery areas, but don't want to do it until I'm sure I wouldn't have another one go broody.
