[CHICKENS-101] RE: Best moms

 

Not sure if I put "Best Moms" in that last email, but did forget to say that the Light Brahma & Buff Orp are both standard.  Both of these gals took chicks I had purchased from our Wilco store without any problem.  The Buff had a week-old chick of her own while the other one had chicks about the same age as the purchased ones.  I just put them under the hens that night & they've been fine ever since :)   Beth Rutherford Americana Acres Specializing in naturally raised heritage breeds Turner, OR ameracres@yahoo.com
