[CHICKENS-101] old roosters who remember being milked

 

Old Blueberi came to his gate and door way while it was open to talk to me tonight.  He is thrilled with his ( now broody) gray hen and 2 head tucking chicks to care for and was telling me so. 

 I picked him up to check his toe nail's length, and check his vent to make sure he did not have mites.  Blueberi became a bit excited (must have remembered past milkings to AI porcelains back when he went thru a weak spell and I almost lost him) and he made a mess on mom's fingers. He was quite pleased with himself too.  Nutty rooster!  If you AI hens I promise your roosters will love you.
