Charlene, That was smart because your hubby's tools being organized with a work bench will help him with plans and building your coop. Steven (Poet) and Pete (Pondkeep our moderator) have tons of knowledge about how to build coops and they used recycled materials. Plus Prof Chicken, (David a college Prof) is a good resouce too. His design for keeping the roosts warm are in the files. You might want to print that off along with some of Steve's designs and ideas. Go to our files and look around.

Wow! I bet that is big! We are throwing ideas around a bit. Hubby has been pausing on project because he did not have a work bench. I insisted he make a work bench and now that is done. Just waiting for shelves in the garage then there are no more excuses....
