They are all Barred Rocks.  From what I read, supposed to be pretty kind, at least to handle--but I know there are a couple of bossy girls in there! <g>  On the other hand--there is *plenty* of room--I sectioned off a little less than half the 8x10 coop with cardboard, and I could just as easily give them more room. 
 
I'll have to admit, together would be much easier--especially since I wouldn't need to make other heat lamp arrangements.  I've raised the lamp several inches already, but I notice none seem to be settling down directly under it since the first day or two--they'll run around under it, but if they all settle to sleep at once it's in a circle on the edge of the light.  That, in spite of my having the windows propped open during daylight, and even one most nights.
