Thanks for the info--more or less what I'd figured, although I won't have any worry about older hens bullying them. I have some chicken wire I can use to make a smaller daytime pen for a while, before they free-range.
Just got a call from the feed store--the 3 little roos (that the hatchery hadn't sent last week) will be arriving Friday. I suppose I'd better keep them seperate from the girls that are a week older--guess I'll need to get/make a second waterer...
