Ro, I'll look thru my photos. I had panoramic pictures somewhere. My silkie barn is an old 1000 egg layer barn with a concrete floor that had 9 sky lights and water in the barn, with 4 huge outdoor pens for all the chickens. Now there are 6 huge skylights and 6 huge windows on the left side, vents with pulleys to close them if needed, the roost platform is cut down to 42 inches from 6-7 ft, and the pull up roosts are gone. The nest boxes that ran the length of the barn are out too. Put in a garage door with a custom made dog kennel panel over it, with horse fencing and poultry wire over the chain link in the back for sun in the cool months, and cool air in the morning and night in the summer. A back and front door for me. There are 2 in and out doors to the outside pens on each side and an extra window on the right side, along the bottom, at chicken height, there are 6 more windows. The roof is high on one side and long, slanted on the other. The barn can be divided up with panels made from cedar 2x4's with fencing on the panels and gates. I just use a drill and wood screws; everything is movable. All is set up for silkies with a wide aisle to get the gas powered wheel barrow thru.
The smaller barns are 16 x22 and 15x15. The cattle barn is nice with a drainage trench. There are two sets of rabbit hutches with 9 cages in each side, with most of it open. New windows and all new electrical everywhere, every barn. I have taken over the cattle room and half of the largest tool room, plus built in a feed room storage area. Then I have a summer pen with a calf house. Plus have a storage shed, a metal coke storage shed for crates, and half a huge garage for cages. There are 8 huge out door pens and another getting added to the back of the cattle barn. Recently my husband bought a pen with a huge base made out of womanized 4x4's and heavy duty hardware cloth. I think I would like to make it into another deck up north. :) We'll see. My dream is to have only two silkie colors in the main barn, and have barns for all the other colors. LOL! I'll be happy when the chickens that are going to their new homes have went and I can spread my silkies out even more and I can have one of the baby barns back for chicks.

You must let us see the pics of your coop.
I do not find that hay is on sale after Halloween, because it is used for Thanksgiving also. At least not around here, I have never seen it on sale I wish.
I have learned to close my ears to some of the forums I am on. Not today though since it is raining so hard I have been talking here too much.

I go there often, just many are very opinionated and think they know it all.
