I have to admit, we did send the fourth to freezer camp a few months ago. It kept attacking the remaining two toms. I was a little luckier when selecting my turkeys than I was selecting my guineas. I have five male guineas, zero females. Yeah me. I had three tom turkeys and one hen, now two and one. I did threaten to send one of the remaining toms to freezer camp because he was ramming me with his wing at feeding time. I body slammed him a couple of times and he learned to be more polite.
The boys are more interested in impressing me than Girl Turkey (that's actually her name). She comes and sits at my feet to try to get their attention. Every time I break the morning silence with my voice, they both gobble at me. They are a hoot. Girl Turkey follows me around then just lays still until I move to the next spot on my rounds. The boys are a little more assertive. I grab their heads and make them let me pet their necks. I think they hate that but I like it.
