I had the same problem last spring, and I admit I had a cheap unit. I found that using a floor heater and/or heat lamps in the bath with the incubator helped it overnight. But still as the temps rose during the day, I had to check every hour. I gave up and sold it. I used hens all summer and for me, that was wonderful and certainly more care free. Lots of folks made suggestions and many agree, you have to spend a few hundred to get a good incubator. Wishing you better success!
