Get a .....".myacin " type treatment from Tractor Supply or other feed store and put it in their water.  Mine is Duramycin-10 and is a Tetracycline Hydrochloride powder.  Put it in the common waterer, unless you want to isolate the coughing chicken.

One of our chickens has what appears to be a cold.  We can hear her breathe.  She sounds congested.  What do I to about this?  We just noticed this last night.
