I'd put them all on an antibiotic with benadryl in their water. The wheezing hen would be given a shot, part of a generic benadryl, and moved to a hospital cage with a light in the corner so she has available an area that is approx 95 degrees, with lots of room to get away from the heat. She'd have the antibiotic in her water too. Tylan is what I used even though it is not approved for chickens. The injectible allows me to pull out 10cc's per gallon of water and gives shots. I'd keep my chickens on it for 10 days if I were in your shoes. When they come off the meds I'd give them probiotics in their water and or food. I use human acidophillus capsules I buy for myself and put it in their food. Hope this helps. Cathryn
One of our chickens has what appears to be a cold. We can hear her breathe. She sounds congested. What do I to about this? We just noticed this last night.
