Blue Boy will live out his time as a beloved pet. I have to figure out a pen where he will be the only male silkie with his own pullets and hens for the time he has left.
Today I found where one of my petite naked neck silkie pullets climbed up and went thru a small hole in the side of the pen. (Interior dog pen panel that was picked up for 10.00 because it had been bent a bit on one side.) She was checking out the penedesenca house and today's eggs. I told her no as I scratched her broody tummy for her and put her back in her own pen and tugged the fencing back over. The NN silkie barn is sitting on so many eggs that the pullets talked the blue cockerel into joining them sitting on eggs. I'm guessing that this little pullet was looking for a nest she would not have to share. Cathryn

I've been wondering about Blue Boy. I'm sorry to hear this but I know he had the best chance possible with you taking such good care of him. Hope you get a good response on Flo and are able to find her.
