Aw! Poor little birdie! Is there any way you can give Blue Boy some supplements to help build him back up? Maybe you have a sweet little old hen that can stay with him and keep him company.
Sorry you have not found Flo yet! Here in Atascadero, we had a major upheaval over an Australian Shepherd who had jumped out of the ranchers truck and got lost. She was picked up by the pound, and within 5 days, someone adopted her! The poor rancher had been calling the pound and looking for his dog (they had been together 7 years and she was his best friend) but the pound never had any dogs that fit her description. Many mistakes were made...the shelter should not have adopted the dog out that fast to begin with. Long story short, the entire town was ready to lynch the family that adopted the dog since they refused to give her back! It was getting REAL ugly...apparently there was something like 4,000 people bantering the new people to give the man back his dog. Finally they did. You can google Atascadero Annie the dog and find alot of articles about her. I wonder if someone has Flo?
Good luck~

Hi, Heather, I noticed today Blue Boy's comb is starting to shrink. Means his fertility is damaged/gone and I'll loose him. Maybe months, a day, or a year, but he is not going to make it. :( Learned this from years and years of having poultry. No Flo yet, but am going to run a 1/4 page ad, human interest story. Cathryn
they are addicting. im glad he is still holding on. any word on flo?
