hi,
considering your temps, research what kind of breeds are heat hardy. that may help alot in your chicken business. also, there are breeds that do well confined and others that dont. google is your friend. also , u can make a profit, but the investment to get started will keep u from doing that for a while, for instance, od u already have barns or do u need to build them , predator control is important and that is an investment also.
