Re: [CHICKENS-101] Modern game bantams

Laura,
I am not planning on keeping a lot of them and haven't really heard about the roosters fighting. I would assume that maybe they would being natural instinct? Guess Deb would be the one to ask that question of since she has had lots of modern game bantams. Maybe the bantams aren't as bad.
My yard already sounds like a chicken slaughter house between the screeching of the hens when the roosters want their way with them, the kennel dogs running along the fence line scaring them, me chasing them when they escape their pens when I am getting dogs out....................I put up a low electric fence wire today to keep the medium size dogs I have here right now off the chicken fence. I have two jack russels, two cocker spaniels, one schnauser and one mix. They don't usually all end up here at the same time but this bunch is capable of making both me and the chickens crazy. They already had a "lesson" with the fence.
